Employers with 20 or more workers must have a formal health and safety program/manual that is developed in consultation with the joint worksite health and safety committee or representative. Employers with fewer than 20 workers must have an informal safety program/manual in place and have documentation in place that meets the requirements established by the OHS legislation.
